The busy bees have been buzzing here in the National Honey Board (NHB) hive, all in preparation for the release of Disney's all-new live-action epic adventure The Jungle Book, in theaters April 15th.

Now you may be asking yourself, "What does the NHB have to do with the release of Disney's newest film?" Well, we'll tell you.

You may recall that back in January we announced that we had some "awesome surprises" planned for 2016, and this is one of them.

We here at the NHB are more than pleased to announce that we are collaborating with Disney on the release of The Jungle Book! This film, directed by Jon Farveau (Iron Man), follows Mowgli (newcomer Neel Sethi), a man-cub raised in the jungle by a family of wolves, who embarks on a captivating journey of self-discovery when he's forced to abandon the only home he's ever known. It features adventure, suspense, and of course, nature's "bare necessity," sweet golden honey.

As two organizations that understand and value the importance of family, we couldn't be happier to collaborate with Disney, and what says "family time" better than movie night? And what would movie night be without some delicious food? That is why we have also teamed up with cookbook author and blogger Laura Fuentes on six brand new family recipes featuring our favorite all-natural sweetener, honey.

Inspired by Disney's The Jungle Book, these playful yet simple recipes are for youngsters and the young-at-heart. From breakfast to dinner and every snack in between, there's something for the entire family, just like The Jungle Book. So gather the troops and settle in with one of these fun and flavorful honey recipes!
