
At Natural Products Expo West, we were introduced to over 900 first-time exhibitors, sharing a stunning array of innovative products that are pushing boundaries and disrupting the status quo in the natural food, nutrition and sweetener sectors.
The annual unofficial kickoff to Expo West—The State of the Natural and Organic Industry Keynote—added some star power to the dias. Maria Shriver, co-founder of the mission-driven brain health and wellness brand MOSH, called the room’s attendees “architects of change,” when it comes to formulating products that are not only good for individuals, but good for the world at large.
Only time will tell which brands will meet consumer demand and redefine what it means to add to the industry’s growing movement toward change. These standout made-with-honey products that we encountered offered creative all-natural sweetener solutions that challenged traditional norms and paved the way for a newstalgic, forward-thinking future. And—they tasted great.
