This year’s Winter Fancy Food Show kicked off 2025 with both swicy and swalty—making for an exciting first look at trending made-with-honey products. From indulgent treats to better-for-you snacks, honey’s versatility and natural appeal were on full display. Here’s a roundup of standout products that captured our attention and highlighted honey’s potential to elevate flavor, functionality and nutrition.

Sauces, Glazes Condiments and Spreads

Honey’s ability to balance sweet and savory shined in artisanal sauces and marinades. A standout product was Red Duck Hot Honey Chipotle BBQ Sauce from Beaverton Foods. Looking for some heat? Then this is the bottle consumers will grab. This tomato-based, Memphis-style sauce is made with organic ingredients. The spicy kick from smoked chipotle peppers is balanced with a hint of honey. Beaverton’s product developers also snuck in some rich coffee to lend a delicious depth of flavor.

Hot Honey by Lola’s Fine Hot Sauce isn’t overly spicy, but it is very tasty! The Lola’s team infused honey with the essence of the original Lola’s Hot Sauce, which is perfect for cornbread, fried chicken, biscuits, chicken and waffles, or as a ham glaze.

Savor the rich combination of golden honey and bold black truffles in Sabatino’s luxurious Truffle Honey Drizzle. The convenient, no-mess squeeze bottle encases a gentle sweetness that blends perfectly with the earthy depth of real black truffle shavings. It’s balanced, irresistible and perfect for cheese charcuterie boards, roasted meats glaze or even mixed into cocktails and desserts for a gourmet touch.

For three generations, the Bella Sun Luci family has shared this delicious dressing around the table. Now, the California-style Meyer Lemon Vinaigrette with basil and honey is available to the masses. The marinade/dressing is made with 100% virgin olive oil and no preservatives.

Honey was the MVP in several snacks catering to the better-for-you segment. Hampton Farms brought an array of snack mixes to their booth—Honey Roasted Peanuts, Honey Roasted Mixed Nuts, Honey Chipotle Peanuts, and Honey Roasted Cashews—in both canister and snack pack offerings.

Large Virginia peanuts that have been honey roasted and seasoned with bourbon-smoked curry powder resulted in a sweet and savory mix. Bourbon Barrel Foods’ snack is the perfect, crave-worthy treat to pair with a honey bourbon or whiskey.

Honey’s functional benefits also took the spotlight. A gut-friendly, gluten-free yogurt enriched with probiotics from Karoun Cheese was pure bliss. Parmalat Cremoso Strawberry Honey Yogurt is a perfect symphony of indulgence mixed with nutrition. It offers a smooth, velvety texture that melts in the mouth. Truly a strawberry-honey delight.
