Honeybee Mai Tai
YIELD: 1 Serving
INGREDIENTS
1 oz. - silver rum
1/2 oz. - dark, aged rum
1 oz. - lime juice
1 oz. - wildflower or buckwheat honey syrup
2 - 3 dashes - bitters
1 - mint sprig, for garnish
DIRECTIONS
For honey syrup:
2 parts honey
1 part HOT water
Combine. Stir until dissolved. Bottle and refrigerate.
For drink preparation:
Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
Top with ice and shake vigorously.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with orange twist.
