Popular lifestyle blogger Tina Haupert from Carrots ‘N’ Cake introduces unique ways to incorporate honey into your meals more often with a collection of five delectable recipes. The collection was developed with busy people in mind to provide their families with fresh, nutritious and flavorful recipes for every meal, such as savory breakfast muffins and honey chipotle lettuce cups.

Haupert has partnered with the National Honey Board to create these outside-the-jar recipes (two for breakfast, two for lunch or dinner and a snack), along with inspiring tips for new ways to incorporate honey and other common ingredients into the food people already eat. To change up your diet and your family’s, find Haupert’s recipes and tips here.

“I love cooking with a versatile ingredient like honey, which is commonly found in kitchen cupboards, as it adds delicious flavor profiles that amplify meals instantly,” said Haupert. “I created these recipes to take away some of the guesswork for those who are too busy to experiment with different flavors, so everyone can serve their families delicious and nutritious meals throughout the day.”

Haupert’s Honey Outside-the-Jar tips include:

  • For a DIY sweet and savory spread, try honey mixed with mustard on your favorite sandwich in place of mayonnaise
  • Mash a ripe banana with honey and cinnamon and spread on toast for a quick breakfast or snack on-the-go
  • Combine honey with smoked paprika and olive oil and then brush on fish or chicken before grilling

To start your morning right, the collection offers two easy grab-and-go recipes, Honey, Stay-in-Bread Pudding and Savory Honey Muffins on the Move. For lunch or dinner, Haupert has recreated two international favorites, Bee Bowl’d Pad Thai and Snack or Pack ‘Em Honey Lettuce Cups. And lastly, the Smooth as Honey White Bean Spread is the perfect snack for anytime or anywhere.
